Preserving the lifestyle of our unique Noosa community

A magnificent entrance ...but after heavy rain events the park becomes inaccessible because of unnecessary flooding.

Natural creek bank in the North Eastern park area allows easy access to the creek.

Singapore Daisies make a pretty picture along the North Eastern walking paths.

Heritage Park was created for the enjoyment of Noosa Parkland residents and the Noosa community.
Regular park users already know that Heritage Park is a unique asset to the Noosa Community.
We are asking Council for Resident consultation before the final Management Plan is drawn up.
A place where children and families can relax, play games and explore clean, creeks without boundaries like our children were able to do.
The Heritage Park Recreational Area
Heritage Park is a natural reserve nestled between Tewantin National Park and the Noosa Golf Course and was designed as the recreational hub for Noosa Parkland residents and comprises 20 hectares of parkland.
The recreation area is in a parkland setting with 7.3 hectares of the parkland designed and landcaped by members and associates of the School of Enviromental Studies, Griffith University.
Help improve YOUR community ...it belongs to you.
Over the past nine years, Heritage Park Tewantin seems to have been neglected by successive councils.
Noosa Parklands is at the quiet end of Noosa. Unless we keep council up to date with maintenance issues we could be forgotten.
Please join your Resident's Association to make sure YOUR concerns are heard.

Lily Pond 2003 & 2016/2017

In 2003, the lagoon was referred to as The Lily Pond. Ref: Page 297/298 Noosa Horizons - A History: Timber Tradition by RJL Adams 2003
Now the Lily Pond is just Salvinia and weeds. Local attempts at weevil treatment failed. Weevil
treatment is working SEQ Water!
